I've only seen limited stuff from Claus, but I understand he has some good stuff. He's on my to-do. 😉 What I have seen, he's a great resource.

Stephen talks about Gary Chester's book The New Breed. I've read the beginning of it and started working on some of the lessons. His ideas on splitting the kit are helpful for me. It takes some getting used to, but I like the way it's coming together.

Ok, when you say Rock, which Rock do you mean? Just Rock N Roll, Heavy Rock, Punk Rock, Classic Rock, or any other number of genres? Some that pop into my mind right now are Krokus - Headhunter, Corrosion of Conformity - Deliverance, Wiseblood, America's Volume Dealer, & In The Arms Of God, Judas Priest - Point Of Entry... and I'm sure with time I could go on and on.

Band - Twenty One Pilots or twenty one pilots Last night, my daughter and I went to see the twenty one pilots show here in Houston and I have to say, what a show it was. I was never really into their music although I liked a few of them. I have been curious about Josh Dun though, since what I've seen online about him seems pretty cool. I will tell you, this guy can make a 3 piece sing. And he can get so many voices out of a small kit. Mind you, he does have a second snare and a couple pads, but when he's on that small 3 piece he knows how to get all the voices out of it. I will certainly be digging into him more.

Parallel Lines I wasn't sure what genre to put this under since the album is a collection of a few. Also, if you have access to it, check out Blondie's New York. It's a great documentary about the making of the album.
