  1. Yes!!! Otis I am and was for many years a rodder/bundler depending on what you call them. Also really good are the Vic Firth Rute505's cross between a brush and a rod. If you can play with bounce with these guys a stick is made easier in my opinion. Also try the Steve Smith Tama Wand it's got a foam central bit with the rods around the outside helps with bounce and volume but a nice sound!!
  2. Went to a drum clinic locally a few years back with him and found him to be a very cool guy.
  3. I use 7A's always have cause I've got little hands and wrists. I recently bought some Vic Firth 5A's and they're quite a different feel I have to say don't know if I could get on with them but I'm gonna try using them when I need a little more volume.
  4. Will have a listen in work tomorrow!,
  5. Vinnie playing for the song with some awesome musicians too!
  6. They're the ones you keep and when their time is up you put them in a drawer and take them out once in a while and feel that feeling all over again and that way they go on and on reaffirming what you do and why and never cease to be of use to you.
  7. I knew I'd seen you before Bob you're that fella from back to the future with the car!!!
  8. These would give you a tighter sound with a shorter attack I would suggest whereas the vic firth 505's you can role the band up and down the shaft of the white nylon bit to alter the sound you get from them as the nylon bit is longer than this type.
  9. I use the Vic Firth 505 rute which are a nylon brush type thing absolutely awesome piece of kit , now i've seen these i might need to get me a pair of these too!!
  10. Had some gave them to a friends son who plays in his dad's church apparently they went down a storm in the service when he used them!!😁
  11. One thing you can do is to recognize the drumming "Hook" of a particular song then put that in so people recognize the song after that focus on keeping time and making people dance!!
  12. I use a promark rebound 7A (0.535) which is nice and light I prefer a 7A as I only have small hands and wrists and I like the rebound range from promark very light and fast.
  13. Juan maybe change your quote to.....We are what we repeatedly want. Excellence then is not practice but a purchase!
