I live between Vienna and Salzburg in a city called Linz, located on the river Danube. Everyone knows Mozart but does anyone know Anton Bruckner? A classic composer and probably the most famous musician from this city, our music university is named after him. An exceptional drummer lives nearby: Martin Grubinger.

Hey @James, Don't worry, they don't. I play a lot of different roots with the band, I have a whole arsenal of them. I like them very much for some songs. I use the thicker ones for rock songs. Side effect: they forgive more mistakes than sticks 😉

The search for the perfect stick is a never-ending story for me. At the moment I'm trying Vic Firth Modern Jazz MJC4 with barrel tip. Not too loud. Good response on the cymbals, good rebound on the heads.

For a while I used dipped sticks from VicFirth. However, over time and under sun exposure, the paint dissolved and became sticky. So I removed the coating.
