No they do not. It is in the fine print. DW John Craviotto snare, my 1994 DW Collector series shells, satin oil finish with brass hardware. 7 peace kit. All my K custom cymbals, Meinl 22” Ride. All my drum mics, vocal mics. Said day for me in 2012 estimate of over 9G. I found a similar kit that DW built it is in a drum shop in Maine. However 10G is not in the budget. Here is a picture taken in 2011. I miss my drums for sure.
  2. Red Blazer gig, man I feel your pain. Thanks for sharing your story! Rock on brotha!
  3. What is your story of Weird gigs? Playing tractor pulls in the rain, nude beach gigs yikes! Lose a bet to band mates? Tell us your story...
  4. Great song for it’s time for sure. Keep em dancing my friend.

No not using anymore, most of my drum gear was stolen from a storage facility in 2012. Was a very sad day for me. I am currently playing Iron Cobras. Very solid and responsive pedals. I get it with the snares. Crazy though, I still find good deals and pick one up here and there. Last snare I purchased was the Bootleg custom shop snare for like 200 bucks, this thing sold for over 550. Love it I use it all the time now.

Joshua, I am all for upgrading equipment does the brain good. LOL! I played DW 5000 double bass pedals for 18 years, very reliable not one failure. If the pedal does not squeak, wobble and make stupid clicking noises it is a good pedal. LOL! Being a pro player like yourself top of the line equipment is a no brainer. I get ask a lot from beginner drummers about equipment. I always ask them the same question how long have you been playing? Are you playing with other players? This will determine my answer.
  7. @Carl yeah great to hear from you. Yes the clinchers and rewards from drumming drive your soul to get better. I have often wondered how a crowd would react to Chuck Berry’s song My Ding- a-ling. I have never played it live. I am sure everyone in the audience with a little age would know all the words and enjoy it. LOL!🤩
  8. Carried my kit to be used in a open mic night. Cat got on my drums using marching sticks! Yikes. Great advise Tim, bringing your on snare, kick pedal and cymbals will put you right at ease.
  9. Yeah man, feel your pain on the almost passing out. Start drinking fluids in the morning don’t wait until the gig starts. That would be to late. My saying as far as equipment and gear goes, If you don’t have it with you. Then you just ain’t got it. LOL🙈
  10. That is great memories to hear Tim. You are a great asset to the shed family! Thanks for sharing the moments. I can visualize what you did. Rock on!
  11. There are always special times when you and your band mates just have a great night playing. The sound was perfect, the lighting was not melting the back of your neck, the temperature of the venue was just right. The gigs I remember the most are the ones the crowd is really engaging with the band, lots of dancing, large cheers after songs. You can hear the crowd singing along over the monitors. Actually it will bring goosebumps to your arms while playing. So to be honest I don’t really have one gig to point out.
  12. Now weather you are a professional musician or not, playing other people’s drum kits has been a nightmare for me. If I play cheaper lines of gear it will not hold up for me. I imploded one guys hi hats, the top hi hat cymbal inverted by me pushing down with my foot on the hi hat stand. Oops 😬. I have broke one guys bass drum pedal in half. It was made out of pot metal. Dang it! 🤪 I have had numerous problems with house drum kits, toms falling off ,cymbal stands breaking. Most of this is from non maintenance by the venue owners. So I have to share my t shirt my wife had made for me.
  13. Getting your mind right to play a gig with your band is one thing. Preparing for the Summer weather is another. I played a gig a month ago and the stage temp was a 115 degrees, yes because the sun reflex off the stage. Are you ready to play for three hours in this heat? Watch the weather before going to outdoor gigs, what kind of venue is it. Covered stage, open stage? Sometimes there is no stage you are playing on the street or even worse setting up on grass. Just take the time to prepare yourself and your gear for these crazy turning events,
