  1. Yes!!! Otis I am and was for many years a rodder/bundler depending on what you call them. Also really good are the Vic Firth Rute505's cross between a brush and a rod.

If you can play with bounce with these guys a stick is made easier in my opinion.

Also try the Steve Smith Tama Wand it's got a foam central bit with the rods around the outside helps with bounce and volume but a nice sound!!

  2. I use 7A's always have cause I've got little hands and wrists. I recently bought some Vic Firth 5A's and they're quite a different feel I have to say don't know if I could get on with them but I'm gonna try using them when I need a little more volume.

  3. They're the ones you keep and when their time is up you put them in a drawer and take them out once in a while and feel that feeling all over again and that way they go on and on reaffirming what you do and why and never cease to be of use to you.

  4. I use a promark rebound 7A (0.535) which is nice and light I prefer a 7A as I only have small hands and wrists and I like the rebound range from promark very light and fast.

Stay tuned for next time to find out what sticks my spouse chooses for me and whether I meet the challenge or throw the sticks out the window 😁

Maybe throw the spouse out the window and pick whatever stick you want?

This is a great idea except my spouse has NO interest in what drumstick I use apparently "they're all the same aren't they??"

I'm regularly changing from 7A's with acorn tips to 7A's with nylon tips to 7A's with barrel tips to rute505's to hot rods to brushes to mallets all in the course of one service so I get the chance to change my sound all the time but for those of you who stick (there it is!) with the same ones all the time this could be a very beneficial exercise cool idea Julia!

  6. I have a 12" Studio crash that is half way between a crash and a splash very nice quick little sounding crash cymbal.

Also a set of chimes is required.

As for the tamba it would prevent the ministers wife playing a tambourine in your ear!!!! But that's another can of worms entirely!!!  🤣😉
