    really looking forward to this!

This is precisely what I’ve been looking for and I can’t wait to see how my practice time is transformed. Thank you.

  3. Roger Parkinson says:

This program is right up my alley. Probably my biggest weaknesses are time management and…FOCUS!! I’m stoked and can’t wait! Thanks Stephen.
PS It begins on my birthday-very symbolic.

  4. Michelle H says:

Super excited for this, my practice time is an utter mess. Thanks for doing this!

  5. Jeff Mueller says:

You’ve definitely struck a nerve. Been playing a long time, but I’m absolutely not where I should be and practice chaos and indecision is a big reason why. Fix me Mr. Taylor!

  6. Michael Ozowski says:

Ready to restructure and optimize my practice time.

  7. Robert Johnson says:

If this series is even just half as good as the lessons already on StephensDRumShed- it will be awesome!

  8. Jan says:

Of all the teachers I’ve seen online, you strike me as the most genuinely caring about whether students learn and grow. I really like all the teachers but I’m most impressed with your style and grace.

    Thank you
    Jan

  9. Aaron L says:

I believe that this program will help me to keep me focused in my practice room, and help me achieve the goals that I expect of myself.

    Cheers and Thanks for this!

  10. Steve says:

My wife says she’s amazed at my progress, given how little I actually practice. But, I think I’ve hit a wall, and look forward to having more discipline to reach the next level.

    • Stephen says:

Glad to have you in the class Steve! The beauty of it is this…there’s a myth that we have to pull 8-12 hour practice days to get to where we want to go. And the research just doesn’t support that. With as little as half an hour of focused practice a day you can see consistent and measureable progress. I am obviously a proponent of hard work. But I’m also a supporter of working smarter. This combines those two. See ya in about a week!

  11. Doug says:

As a Director for a non-profit and working 55 hours a week. Always attending events at nights and on the weekends. Having to go to early morning meetings …. and then trying to find time for my family when I am not working, man, am I having a difficult time trying to practice for any lenghth of time (and being productive when I do). So this course has my name all over it. Thank you Stephen.

  12. Mark Coffin says:

I am looking forward to this Stephen!

    Mark

  13. OK Stephen, after some thought in which i examined myself with the question ” can i help MYSELF, do i really need this “.
You see, my ” problem ” is, i have a beautiful career behind me in Holland and now i just want to enjoy my practice time.
So, the answer is YES, I AM IN .

    • Stephen says:

Hey Paul…I really do believe in the stuff this course covers. It has not only helped my students but has completely changed the way I see my practice time and the way my practice time benefits the other parts of my life. So glad to have you in the course!

  14. Matthew says:

    really keen !

  15. Andy miller says:

Despite playing for over 40 years and teaching for the last 24, it will be brilliant to learn how to schedule myself to become the player I always wanted to be.

  16. Brian says:

  19. Chris says:

Very much looking forward to the course, very rare to get a class like this online, or even face to face. Great opportunity!
I’ll lag a bit behind due to a long planned vacation with no internet, but I’ll be very much catching up after April 21st :-)

  20. Robert Anderson says:

All the best from Rob from Fife in Scotland ,can’t wait to get started: Cheers!

  21. Doug Mantooth says:

I’m really excited Teach, and I can’t wait to see how this is going to transform my drumming! I really need something to help me make the most out of my practice times, because due to my job schedule (I work midnights) and “life”, I don’t usually have extended periods that I can practice. So getting the most out of every minute I can sit down at the drum set is very important to me!

  22. Paul says:

Hi Stephen, am really pleased to be on this course. Just got in before the deadline. Am about to move house so this will be perfect. Can’t wait to get started. Keep up the good work it’s much appreciated. Cheers

  23. Edwin Mendez says:

Steve , you convince to enroll in your class . I will be 58 yrs . old this July !! My time is running out, I stil have a deep passion for drumming. There is just much I nee to learn ?? Hoping this helps me. I know its totally up to me. Its what I put into it !!!

  24. Kalili says:

I’m anxious for your class. I’m just getting back into drumming after too long!

  25. Scotty A says:

Okay.. I recognize a lot of names here :) Lets do this (although I may miss the first few live dangflabbit).

  26. Mark E. Engelberg says:

Gotta make time to work at it to make it pay off. That’s the hard part. Gonna try real hard! Thanks for the opportunity.

  27. Teijo says:

I’m really glad that I got the last few seconds to register by. I look forward to the start of the course. This is a good thing, thank you Stephen. Greetings from Finland.

  28. Jamie Joiner says:

    Hey Stephen!

Really looking forward to going through this with you. Really wanting to see breakthrough with practice and see results and improvement. Time is often limited, but I’m going to push through as much as I can. I know I’m gonna learn tonnes!

The way you are running this is genuinely so inspiring to me, so thank you for giving me the opportunity to learn from you.

    • Stephen says:

I’m so glad to have you in the course Jamie! I know that the info I teach through has been a game changer for my own personal practice times. I’ve seen it in many of my students as well.

  29. Gerald Drauden says:

Been playing a long time and believe you needed hours of practice time to get better, then feel guilty not putting time in daily. Then there’s so much great drumming material available where do start? Looking forward to your approach and my commitment to the art of practice. Thanks Jerry.

    • Stephen says:

Hey Jerry…I’ve had all of those same feelings and issues over the years. The great thing is, it really doesn’t have to be that way. My practice time is proof of that.

  30. Collene Caswell says:

Hey Stephen! I am beyond excited to start this program!! Thank you for all your hard work in making this happen!!

    • Stephen says:

Hey Collene! I’m beyond excited to see what it’s gonna do for your practice time and your playing. As you go through it, let me know if you have any questions.

  31. Jonathan says:

Missed this series the last go-around. Pumped to get to it this time! Much needed

    • Stephen says:

Hey Jonathan…really glad you got in on it this time around. Ask anyone from the last time I taught it, this stuff will change your drumming if you’ll commit to it. And not because I’m the one teaching it. But because the concepts are built on principles that work across a variety of fields. Can’t wait to see your growth!

  32. Daniel Sanchez says:

Hey Stephen. I’ve seen a lot of your videos on Youtube over the past few years and I’ve always admired your approach to playing the drums and your teaching methods. I’m really excited to finally dive into one of your programs and put forth all the work and effort so that I may achieve all the drumming goals that I have been searching for! Thank you for putting this together, can’t wait to get started!

  33. “Hey”:) Hi Stephen, I really enjoyed your Free TAOP Series. My biggest problem is managing my time and the importance of the task I need to be doing. The scariest question for someone to ask me is “what are your goals?” All I seem to know is that I love the Lord and I love to drum. So I signed up for your course in hopes you’ll be able to help me organize not only my drumming, but my life tasks as well. May I not be the “average” that doesn’t follow through!

    • Stephen says:

Hey Nancy…don’t you worry, if you will work through the material this will absolutely help you solidify those goals and work towards them. Glad to have you in here!

  34. Iris Tuomenoksa says:

Hi Stephen, This is perfect timing. I have a hard time to keep life at bay and get myself to practice. So I am going to commit time every day during this course to make long lasting empowering changes, so I can get more done in less time, and have more time to make music :-)

  35. Ben Savage says:

As you can see by my previous comments I’m pretty stoked to start this course. Pretty awesome that it comes with so much!

  36. Bob Tebbe says:

I’m already seeing a huge difference with my playing by using your other courses, this one is just the icing on the cake! Thanks a million Stephen, looking forward to seeing this set of lessons fleshed out more after having seen some of the material at Drumeo VIP week with you!

  37. Richard Thane says:

Really excited by this and I can’t wait to get started. Thanks Stephen!

  38. Jay Edgren says:

    Stephen,
I truly believe that by transforming my practice, my playing will improve and I’ll enjoy drumming even more. Looking forward to the lessons.

  39. George M. DeRalau says:

Hey Stephen, by watching the four videos on your course I’ve decided to put away all the excuses (and there are many, all valid) and commit to this just to see how much it will indeed affect my entire life. I can’t believe you could be so passionate about something that wouldn’t work. I’m getting kinda old, so if I’m going to do this, the time is now.

    • Stephen says:

True story…I just had to move both home and business this last month. It has been INSANE! Oh, and did I mention that my wife came up pregnant again (surprise!). Life at 100mph…wrecked my practice time for a couple of weeks. Today I decided it had to end. I had a million and one things to do and a ton of fires to put out…but I went through my ritual. In a new studio for the first time. With a ton of problems on my mind. And in less than 10 minutes I was in the zone and had a GREAT practice time. I practice what I preach. If you will commit to this stuff, it will work. Period.

Glad to have you in here George!

  40. Dave Bright says:

Hey Stephen, love your work on this and super excited to get started. I guess my main goal is to take full advantage of this and accelerate my personal progress and to find and break some bad habits/ barriers.
    Thanks man ????????

  41. Brian Humphrey says:

I first saw you on Drumeo. Great teaching style! I’m really looking fwd to the course!

  42. Doug says:

Had lunch at Fat Mo’s (I think?) with you a while back! Looking forward to this. Hopefully it teaches me out to clean my house without it being a chore too haha

  43. Ray Boreham says:

I’m new to drumming, so I hope this helps me develop good habits early on so I can make faster progress with my drumming. Lord knows I need all the help I can get!

Thanks, Stephen. Can’t wait to see what you’ve got in store for us.

  44. Michael Malinowski says:

Really excited for this. I was hesitant to sign up, because you already give out so much information in the videos, but man, I admire you and your YouTube channel so much, and the concepts you’re talking about are rexactly what I’ve been focusing on lately. I’ve been drumming for 15 years and just this year started keeping a detailed practice log, but I still don’t plan out far enough or stay AS focused as I want. But I’ve already been seeing great progress this year, so I’m excited to see how much more I can get accomplished with this course. ALSO, just wanna say out of all the guys on YouTube, your lessons and channel are BY FAR the best. You’re the only one with REAL experience to back everything up. Other guys have chops for days and all that, but they just seem fake. You have the sincerity and humbleness and it goes a long way.

    • Stephen says:

Hey Michael…thanks so much for the kind words. Glad the lessons resonate with you!

And yes, there is a good bit of info in the free series. That’s really the “why” of it. The course is the “how” of it all. It’s one thing to understand a concept. It’s another to know it and be able to execute it. That’s what we look at in the course. Sounds like you’ve been hinting at this stuff in your practice time already. This will help take it over the top for you I think!

  45. Chris says:

Hey Stephen! So excited for this course. I’ve asked teachers about this kind of thing before and have never seen such a complete approach to it.

  46. Dane Ward says:

I didn’t start drumming until the age of 59 – 6 years ago. I just started upright bass instruction as well. Without a doubt this course will address a timely need for me. Thanks!

  47. JR Franks says:

Really looking forward to this course! I started watching your YouTube channel about a year ago and I can say without a doubt that you’re the most sincere drumming personality I’ve come across in all my years of scouring the Internet for drum lessons. Practice guilt is a real thing for me, and this definitely looks like a great resource to help find my footing in my musical life. Thanks!

    • Stephen says:

Hey JR…practice guilt was a HUGE thing for me for so many years. I don’t have it anymore ;^)

I promise, this course will help with that and a lot more.

And thanks so much for the kind words. They really do mean the world.

  48. I’m super excited to start this course. Your teaching is so easy to follow and so practical. I’m also a drum teacher and I’m looking forward to how I can pass this info along to my students as I learn it.

    • Stephen says:

Great to meet a fellow teacher! There have actually been a lot of teachers work through this course. It will definitely help your students. It will also change HOW you teach material (it has for me). Especially the feedback loops, zoning, assembly lines, etc. I think you will get so much out of this from the teacher perspective. So glad to have you in here and dedicated to bettering yourself and your students!

  49. Damon Gray says:

    Stephen:
Thank you for producing this course. I bought a kit about a year ago to take advantage of the time I have now that I am retired, but have been floundering for reasons you mention in your video. I am looking forward to the course.

  50. Anthony Reggi says:

I am looking forward to getting back on track with drums and life. In June it will be 1 year since my 6 year old daughter passed away from brain cancer and drumming has been helping me survive the grief. Stephen, thanks for the drumeo lessons, YouTube videos and now this course.

  51. Stephen says:

Wow Anthony, that’s a lot of life in the past year. I’m not so sure I would still even be playing the drums. I totally get their therapeutic effect though. Hopefully this course will give you the tools you need to have the drums continue to be a source of inspiration and healing instead of a source of frustration and guilt. Let me know if you have any questions!

  52. Rob Streicher says:

I’ve always struggled with organizing my practice time. Some shiny object I come across while listening or playing ALWAYS distracts me from whatever feeble plan I had unwritten in my brain when I sat down to play. Everything you say about practice killers REALLY resonates with me, as well as pretty much all the ohter videos of yours that I’ve come across. Really looking forward to this!

    • Stephen says:

I say this because of seeing players just like yourself work through this material…if you apply it, your practice time is gonna sky rocket with focus. I’m living proof of that. Glad to have you in the course!

  53. Robert Hawkins says:

looking forward to getting stuck into this. If it is half as informative and well presented as the ghost note mastery course then we are in for a great experience.

Thanks for all the hard work you put in Stephen.

    • Stephen says:

If you want my honest opinion…yes. I have put more work into this course than any other lesson or series I’ve ever done, online or off.

Thanks for being dedicated to becoming a better player!

  54. Mathew Teudt says:

Yo Stephen! Mat here from Wollongong, Australia. You got me mate. Stoked to be part of your learning curriculum that focuses on learning strategies. Just what I need right now, I’m feeling pretty un-focused. With being a school teacher, a Dad, partner etc I’m predicting it will take me quite a bit longer to get through the content so I’m happy that I can take my time with it. Looking forward to learning again! Thanks Stephen!

    • Stephen says:

So glad to have you be a part of this Matthew! Australia is one of the places I haven’t been that is on my bucket list lol. Let me know if you have any questions!

  55. Seth McKenzie says:

    Stephen,

I’m very excited to begin your program! Throughout my musical journey, deciding to attend music school, and now teaching/gigging for several years, I’ve come across some good, methodical ways of getting things done (and some not so good ways), but I’m always striving to become more efficient in “the art of practice” and finding an array of helpful, to-the-point tools for myself and my students. With this opportunity to collaborate with you, I ask that you shake my foundation, help reinforce and authenticate the things I do well, and help me shape my teaching/practice philosophy further to better what we all try to serve to the best of our ability, THE MUSIC! Hear from you soon…

    -Seth McKenzie

    P.S. – No pressure! haha

  56. Kelly Lyle says:

At 55 I am probably the most beginner of them all…but I have a weakness for taking things deep. From what I have learned from you so far, the research you have done and the ideas you present are applicable in all the things where we want deeper discipline. For me there are so many life goals I still have, even at 55, and I have a strong feeling the ideas and philosophies you are going to present will be most applicable.

    • Stephen says:

You are very correct Kelly. The most common email I get from players after they go through this course is how many other places they have found to apply the concepts. Which totally makes my year. So glad to have you in here!

  57. Angelo Vaccaro says:

Thanks Stephen for the quick response to my question. Looking forward to starting the course.

    Angelo

  58. Luigi Alfaro says:

Really inspired and looking forward to start this course!

  59. Martin says:

Guess what. The bill was doubled check and here I am. Let*s do this!

  60. Dwayne Gadson says:

I have a deep desire to play the drums for the worship team at my church, being that you been a drummer for church yourself, I feel all the faith that you can get me where I need to be in my drumming, Thank you in advance Stephen

  61. Russ Fields says:

Even at 63 I am looking forward to learning how to better my practice times, as they are limited.
Have watched you for sometime now. I like your down to earth, honest and energetic approach.
