Monica
Wait! Joshua is the first member of this club???? I'm confused. And from this hardcore linguist - Moms does not have an apostrophe. Unless the Mom owns something, you know, like a drum set. :-) Monica
Grant
Thanks for the grammar check Monica! Always need help with that haha. And of course! I technically have to be in every group that I start, just how the forum works I suppose!
Julia
Hi there! My daughter is in college, and I don't have any little ones at home, but I thought I'd join and complain that my daughter doesn't want to learn drums with me 😆 I love to see kids learning to play music with their parents/family. @Monica, are yours learning with you? Monica
You gave me a good laugh, @Julia! If there were a Grandmothers Club, that's where I would belong! My kids are in their late thirties. I do, however, have 2 little grandchildren who love to dance and play percussion. Unfortunately, they don't live close to me, but the last time we saw them, their parents invited some friends over for a jam (I got to play cajon) and the little ones happily participated. The then-4-month-old sat on my lap and "helped" me play percussion with an interesting wooden percussion instrument that I brought them as a present from Russia.
