More Cowbell!!!
I’ve helped thousands of drummers improve their playing. I can help you too.
Now, in the real world (which is what makes this skit all the funnier) the cowbell isn’t called for near as much as we want it to be. I’ve found that if you look hard enough though, you can find plenty of application for it. Check out the lesson below, download the sheet music, and work through the 3 levels that I outline in the lesson.
We Need More Cowbell
Far too often we limit ourselves to old ways of thinking (i.e. the cowbell can only be played on quarter notes in a classic rock song). If we will take a moment in our practice time and think outside of the box, we can often come up with some really great innovations. Just look at the song “Blurred Lines”. It’s not my favorite song of all time, but the groove is infectious. And it’s got cowbell all over the place!
There’s been a HUGE change in the YouTube channel…we now, after 4 years, have a regular weekly schedule. That’s right, 3 videos every week. Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday. This has allowed me to expand the type of content that I put up. All of it is still aimed at learning more about the drums, just in a little more entertaining fashion. If you don’t already, be sure and subscribe here. Below is a fun video I put up on Wednesday.
Can You Drum?
A quick note to wrap things up…there is a HUGE sale going on in the download store right now. 50% off of every downloadable drum lesson and book. Some of the lesson packs are as low as $4. It’s just my way of saying “thank you” for all of the support throughout the year. Go here to snag your lessons for half off.
Now…GO PRACTICE!!!
