Part 2 of a 3 part series on the basics of reading music. Note rest markings, common barlines, roll markings, and the various common note heads found in percussion are covered in this lesson.
Make a list of all terms discussed in the lessons. The test will consist of you giving the definition for each item as well as writing an example of that item . For instance, if the item is “Whole note”, you must give the proper definition of a whole note, how many beats it takes up, and then draw a whole note on a staff.
