14 DAY DOWNLOAD GUARANTEE: If you purchase one of the lesson packs I’m offering…Download the lesson packs, go through the lessons, and if you don’t like them then just email me, and I’ll give you all your money back. I’m taking a risk by doing this. I can’t make you give the downloaded videos, sheet music, and lesson resources back. I can’t get the atoms back off your computer when you download the lessons. You could just order the lessons, ask for a refund and rip me off, but I’m going to trust that you’re not going to do that. -Stephen T.

Ive been following you for about 2 years now. I have grown in my playing since I’ve started. you’re well articulated in thought and very through with your instruction. It makes learning from you a breeze…. just my .02 !

Great lesson on one of the most difficult beats imaginable! I’ve always played it by feel. I got through it but now I have all the ammunition to play it correctly. Thanks Stephen!

  3. Geoff says:

Thanks for this Stephen! Best drum lesson I’ve seen lately. It’s such a great tune, and I have played it/transcribed it before, but the way you wrote it makes more sense to me. I have a much better understanding of the song now. :)

Even though I am still in the beginning level of my drumming, I listen to most of the drum lessons you present to us. A lot of them like this one are over my plying ability at this time, but it energizes me to want to do Focus Practice more then ever so that my skills continue to improve. It pushes me to get out of my comfort zone. Thanks for the great work!

As one of the other comments… I have been teaching this to many of my students with a chart which didn’t feel like how it felt. This makes much more sense and is so much easier to read. Thanks again so much for this Stephen.
I don’t know if you do clinics but i think this would be a good time to get yourself out there. You are an awesome teacher!

A brilliant piece of notation work from you Stephen !
Why are you not already famous having made it with a big band !!?

I did the whole touring thing and “band” thing (signed to Universal Records, etc.) back in the day. Not interested in fame though…just want to play ;^)
