Your breakdown on this lesson is great, as usual. Your efforts are truly appreciated and helpful. Hope the new addition looks like your wife. Just sayin’!
Great stuff here as usual. Hope all’s well with the new family member;)
Any more polyrhythms courses in the archives? Or in the future?
Love Polynome. Great app by a great drummer & teacher Joe Crabtreee
Hay Stephen, Thank you for the lessons there great ,really helping me a lot specially the way you do them you take your time to make sure we get it and understand it, Thank you.
Initially I really didn’t get this and admittedly still don’t really.
I’ve been playing over fifty years and never know why we work so hard on things like this.
However after watching and rewatching it’s starting to sink in and may even come in handy.
Always grateful for your patience and expertise w/old heads like me.
Peace
Thank you for the lesson. Timing is one my main focuses and this is awesome fodder for my studies. I hope you are enjoying your time with the new family member. A truly special time that puts it all in perspective!
Thanks for the great lesson. Really good to clear up any confusion over the difference between the two inversions. I’m glad I have a better way to explain it to my students! Wishing you and the family well too!
Awesome Lesson. I’ve been learning to play Black in Black by AC/DC (on the drums of course) and there is a measurement that keeps giving me trouble where Phil Rudd is playing 8th notes on the on the hi-hat and, kick drum on 1 and snare on two but then during 3 and 4 he suddenly throws a triple; then the next measurement starts with a flam on one then there is another triple then then he switches to 8th notes again during 3 and 4. This lesson seems it may help me with this issue. I hope Stephen gets to see this comment soon and provide some good advise.
Excellent lesson!!!!
Thanks Andrew…so glad it helped!
