I love tom grooves and I’m happy to see this lesson series.

My favorite tom groove of all time is Ringo’s “Come Together” groove. Second favorite is U2’s “Desire.”

    What’s your favorite?

Man, I have always loved the tom groove for My Hero by the Foo Fighters.

One that isn’t as well known that I absolutely think is genius is the toms in the groove for the song “Lisztomania” by Phoenix. It’s just genius.

Good call on all of those grooves, gents.

A couple of my favourites are Ticks And Leeches by Tool, Danny Carey is a beast on that. Also love Midlife Crisis by Faith No More, Mike Bordin gives the track an awesome feel and I really dig the drum production for it.
